Цель:

образовательная:

Тренировать в чтении, в монологической речи (to practice reading and speaking skills.)

повторить ранее изученные и активизировать новые лексические единицы по теме «Sport»

Особенности употребления устойчивого выражения «заниматься спортом» (to practice To go V-ing, To go V), словообразование (word building)

развивать навыки аудирования с нахождением специфической информации;

вовлечь школьников в активную речевую деятельность на уроке путем использования современных средств обучения, приложение smartboard

развивающая:


развивать внимание, сообразительность, мышление, самостоятельность, память, воображение;

развитие фонематического слуха, языковой догадки

развивать учебно-познавательную и социокультурную компетенции;

Teacher: Good morning, students. I’m glad to see you.

Teacher: Let’s greet our guests.

Pupils: Good morning our guests.

Teacher: Let’s begin our lesson. Let’s remember what date is it today?

Pupil 1: Today is the 12th of December, Monday.

Teacher: What season is it now?

Pupil 3: It is winter now. December, January and February are winter months. It is cold. It snows. It is frosty and slippery. I like to go for a walk when snow rustles under my feet.

Teacher: What is your favourite season?

Pupil 4: My favourite season is…

Teacher: Thank you. Well done!

Pre- speaking work. Let’s check your homework. Teacher: Your homework was to learn proverbs about health…

Pupils: “Healthy is over the riches”, “Healthy body, healthy mind”, “Health is better than wealth”, “Health is not valued till sickness comes”, “Early to bad early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise”, “Helpful habits make healthy body”, “After dinner sit a while, after supper walk a while” .

Teacher: What another proverbs do you know?

Pupils: “East or West home is best”, “Better late than never”, “A friend in need is a friend indeed”, “The best mirror is an old friend” and etc.

Sport, to be physically fit, do morning exercises, get enough sleep, take long walks in the open air, healthy food, eat fruits and vegetables, wash your hands before meals, fast food, play computer games all day long, smoking, use drugs, drink alcohol.

Teacher: What was the first word we used? Right you are? it is sport/ So the theme of our lesson is sport.

What sports are popular in our country?

Do you prefer summer or winter sports?

We should buy some expensive special equipment.

Going in for extreme sports is dangerous.

To go V-ing

(to go swimming, to go skiing, etc.) is used when we speak about sport activity, which is not done professionally.

“Jack goes swimming” means that he is not a professional swimmer. It’s his hobby and he doesn’t do it regularly.

To V

(to swim, to ski, etc.) is used when we speak about sport, which is done professionally/ competitively.

“Jack swims” means that he is a professional swimmer who takes part in competitions.

Choose the most suitable expression from the ones in brackets. (Презентация: слайд 8)

I (swim/go swimming) once a week.

He is a professional. He (goes skiing/skies) four hours a day.

I want to be fit. That is why I (go dancing/dance).

In her teens my mother (swam\went swimming) and her best result was bronze in a national championship.
